Spotlighting Graphic Designers

Graphic Design is an ever changing and growing field. I find myself inspired by many creatives but I chose two of my favorite designers to highlight and create conceptual art around their work.

Jason Naylor is an award-winning artist, designer, and creative director based in Brooklyn. He recently penned the book “Live Life Colorfully.” I created an invitation concept for his book tour based on his murals. The inspiration stemmed from his artwork, the medium of spray paint, and living life colorfully! To learn more about Jason Naylor, visit his website: https://jasonnaylor.nyc/

Chuck Anderson is a self-taught designer from Chicago – my hometown. He is known for his surreal use of color & light, pioneering juxtapositions of traditional & digital mediums, and endless experimentation. His designs transcend across all genres but I was influenced heavily by his work in the sports industry so I created a magazine spread for Sports Illustrated that pays homage to his style of design.
